✨ Acolyte Job Quest Guide

Quest Overview

This quest allows Novices to change their job to Acolyte. The quest involves signing up with Father Mareusis in Prontera Church, then visiting one of three designated NPCs (randomly selected). After speaking with the assigned NPC, return to Father Mareusis to complete the job change.

Sign Up for the Quest

Father Mareusis

Inside Prontera Church, first room on the right.

Go to Prontera Church (prt_church) and find Father Mareusis in the first room on the right at coordinates (184, 41).

Simply talk to Father Mareusis to sign up for the acolyte quest. He will randomly assign you to visit one of three NPCs: Father Rubalkabara, Mother Marthilda, or Father Yosuke.

Visit the Assigned NPC

After signing up, Father Mareusis will tell you which NPC to visit. Go to the assigned location and speak with the NPC until they finish talking.

Father Rubalkabara

Near St. Capitolina Abbey, 1 map North, and 2 maps East of Prontera. That is the Yoyo/Smokie/Choco map.

⚠️ Warning: Be careful of Chocos, they are aggressive.

Simply talk to him until he finishes talking.

Mother Marthilda

moc_fild07 (36, 354)

One map north from the town of Morroc. Morroc is SouthWest from Prontera. She is at the top left corner of the map.

Simply talk to her until she finishes talking.

Father Yosuke

He is on a very small island (located at the center of the map) 2 maps West, and 1 map North, of Prontera.

Simply talk to him until he finishes talking.

Complete the Job Change

After speaking with the assigned NPC, return to Father Mareusis at prt_church (184, 41) to complete your job change.

Tips & Strategies

📍 Remember Your Assignment Father Mareusis will randomly assign you to one of three NPCs. Make sure to remember or write down which NPC you need to visit.

⚠️ Watch for Aggressive Monsters If assigned to Father Rubalkabara, be careful of aggressive Chocos on the map. Consider bringing healing items or leveling up first.

🗺️ Know the Locations The three NPCs are in different locations: near Prontera (Father Rubalkabara), near Morroc (Mother Marthilda), and on an island near Prontera (Father Yosuke).

💬 Complete the Conversation Make sure to talk to the assigned NPC until they finish their dialogue completely before returning to Father Mareusis.

Important Notes

You must be a Novice at Job Level 10 to start this quest.
The NPC assignment is random - you may be assigned to any of the three NPCs.
If assigned to Father Rubalkabara, beware of aggressive Chocos on the map.
You must complete the conversation with the assigned NPC before returning to Father Mareusis.
All NPCs are located in field maps, so be prepared for potential monster encounters.
