Priest Job Change
Complete the Three Trials of Priesthood at Prontera Sanctuary: a pilgrimage to ascetic Priests, spiritual training against Undead and Demons, and an oath of devotion before Bishop Paul promotes you. on ClassicRO : RagnaFever.
Requirements
- Must be an Acolyte with Job Level 40 or higher.
- Use all skill points before applying or changing jobs.
- Job Level 50 skips the First Trial (pilgrimage) and goes straight to spiritual training.
- A Priest helper may accompany you during spiritual training if they carry a Rosary.
- Complete the zombie trial within 5 minutes and clear all named waves before proceeding.
- Resist demon temptations in the corridor and defeat all mummy waves.
- Pass Sister Cecilia's oath interview with honest answers.

Step 1 — Register with Bishop Paul
- Talk to High Bishop Paul in prt_church and choose to apply for the Priest job.
- You need Job Level 40 with no unused skill points.
- Paul explains the Three Trials and sets quest 8009.
- At Job Level 50 he skips the pilgrimage (8009 → 8011) and sends you directly to spiritual training.
Step 2 — Pilgrimage (First Trial)
- Visit three ascetic Priests in this exact order (quest 8010):
- 1. Father Rubalkabara — Prontera Ruins, northeast of Prontera.
- 2. Mother Mathilda — field north of Morroc.
- 3. Father Yosuke — field northwest of Prontera.
- These are callfunc NPCs in the field maps; savepoint coordinates above are the best map hints.
- Return to Bishop Paul after Yosuke to begin the Second Trial (8010 → 8011).
- Skipped entirely at Job Level 50.
Step 3 — Spiritual Training (Second Trial)
- Paul warps you to job_prist; speak to Peter S. Alberto to begin (8011 → 8012).
- Zombie trial — 5 minutes to kill all 13 named zombies in five waves, then use the hall warp.
- Demon corridor — resist temptation from Deviruchi, Doppelganger, Dark Lord, and Baphomet.
- Mummy waves — defeat three pairs of named mummies in the final hall.
- On success you warp back to prt_church (8012 → 8013) and may retry from Paul if you fail.
- Priests with a Rosary can enter the training area to assist an Acolyte friend.
Step 4 — Oath with Sister Cecilia (Final Trial)
- After spiritual training, Cecilia begins your formal oath (8013 → 8014).
- Answer eight conviction questions honestly — wrong answers reset you (PRIEST_Q 8).
- Upon passing, quest advances to 8015 and Paul waits for your promotion.
Step 5 — Job Change
- Return to Bishop Paul with no unused skill points.
- He completes quest 8016 and changes your job to Priest.
- Reward: Book if Job Level below 50; Bible if Job Level 50.
